Grasslands of North America and Africa borrowed expertise from the Natural Science Research Lab at Texas Tech. The thesis of this exhibition compared the many ecological similarities of North American grasslands with African grasslands, and the inhabitants within.
Using the vast collection of taxidermy housed at the Natural Science Research Laboratory, the exhibition was driven by the animal classifications of Herbivores, Gramivores, and Carnivores. We decided to modernize the traditional natural science museum exhibit and use vibrant, energetic colors in the design.
